Do We Really Care?

We don’t really care about a whole range of things which are horrendous indictments on us as human beings.

We don’t really care about Palestinian children covered in blood or Syrian children living in bombed out buildings and denied safety, schooling and the innocence of play.  Our senses have been frozen to inactivity against the enduring impact of abuse against children in our own communities.  The future of Aboriginal people on our continent is really of no great consequence to us.  We don’t really care about refugees who have fled in terror from their birth countries, sold everything they ever owned to pay people smugglers
