As John looks at the throne of God, he sees that the throne is surrounded by a rainbow which is made up of many different shades of green. Green being representative of life, and the rainbow representative of God’s faithfulness to His promises, reminds us of God’s faithfulness to His promise of eternal life to those who trust in Him.
As a child of God, we have received a precious promise of a glorious eternal existence with Christ throughout eternity.
