Emotional abuse is a case that is becoming more prevalent these days. It is the psychological and social aspects of child abuse that is pointed out to be the reason why one can abuse another. The root of this situation is very deep that you have to go beyond what you see in order to measure the fatality or the depth of the damage within one’s self.

Some parents are emotionally abusive without being violently or sexually abusive. But at some cases emotional abuse can then be a source physical or sexual abuse. Emotionally abusive parents are those that are more concerned on the achievement of their own needs and goals rather than those of their children. They are very aggressive, compulsive, over manipulative and often communicate to their children through shouting and understatement enough to hurt their feelings.
