Le Vell Not Guilty On All Charges


One important reminder for everyone; victim anonymity is for life regardless of the verdict.

Please do not speculate about the witness’ identity.

I think there are some very important questions for the CPS over this case.

Coronation Street star Michael Le Vell celebrated with a pint today minutes after he was found not guilty of raping and sexually assaulting a girl from the age of six.

The jury in his child sex abuse trial took less than five hours to clear him completely of charges he said left him ‘fighting for my life’.

Mr Le Vell mouthed ‘thank you’ to the eight women and four men and raised his hand to them after they returned not guilty verdicts for each of the 12 counts.

He was cheered by supporters waiting on the steps of Manchester Crown Court and the ‘delighted’ 48-year-old said: ‘I might go and have a drink’ before…
